TOAD Insight works sporadically for me as well. From my experience, it seems to do more with what should be returned back than it does with the permissions of the user. For example, if I type
the schema owner then a dot, I always get back the objects under the schema. But if I put the schema owner, dot, package, dot, sometimes I will get the items inside the package, but normally I do not. It seems that the larger the package, the more likely
I won’t get anything back.
